not as good as the 'professional builders' but I look forward to paddling this thing.

Thanks for posting your pictures and the telling of your grief.
The ocean won't notice your quality concerns.Your boat will be an excellent performer,especially in wild seas and fully loaded..I have two...Learn to paddle it on flat water, first.
You have an interesting choice for her name.
