While searching Dan's site for an image of his inlay work I just came across the "Queen of my Heart" boat that he did for his wife. Spectacular!Dan, what does the name "Magalloway" refer to?

Thanks. The "QOMH" was my second kayak and was done all with onlays (printed and wooden). The heart-shaped hatches get a few comments.
Glad I could give you some inlay inspiration. For the "Nerieda" I followed a similar route as you, including using the awesome Stewart-Mac mini-router base. I know I grew a few grey hairs routing that 3/16" thick Sapele deck for the inlay.
The Magalloway design is named after a great little river in Western Maine/north-eastern NH that we often paddle. It empties into Lake Umbagog.
