Some good information there!

I beveled the strips before hanging them. I ran a palm router along the plank edge to create the bevel then ripped off a strip; repeat as required. I replaced the router baseplate with a wooded one to get the angle. A full-size router is a bit heavy for this operation, it doesn't need much power as there is very little wood to remove - a dremel will probably work. Later I realised I could probably have done it easier on the table router with an offset ogee bit . . . next time!
