Thanks very much to all three of you. That is very useful information. I didn`t mention that it is a fibreglass canoe, and I am replacing the wooden parts. I am going to buy seats, and possibly thwarts from a Canadian outdoor supplier. As I got the hull for nothing, it should be a good investment, as the fibreglass is solid.
