Thank you I am having fun. Yes I sanded, faired, and glassed the hull exterior first. Then I flipped her over and started stripping the deck. It is staple-less construction so the hull is still glued to the forms While the deck is being constructed. I figure I can align the deck strips to the sheer better. The deck on this boat is rather flat and fragile before glassing so I found myself separating the deck from the forms during construction with a long thin flexible putty knife just to make the final separation easier and less likely to break the deck in weak areas around the cockpit. I cut out and re-stripped the deck recess, and then glassed the deck exterior before complete separation of the deck from the forms. I decided to complete the coaming and glass it before sanding the interior surfaces.
