Strip: external strongback

Hi All, I have built 2 strippers with a internal strongback and heard that an external strongback is superior to the internal. Now I know there is more than one way to skin a cat and would like to know where I could find plans and what system works best, maybe some strippers could post photos of what they like and what works best.
