many thanks for the quick tip on how to loosen a strip and another thanks for all the folks who gave me some advice on modifying the deck a couple months back.

just finisihed the basic stripping today....and thought i would send a quick pic along. again, this is the night heron high deck but with some significant rounding over of the top of the foredeck and aft deck giving more of the look of the low deck which i think is very appealing. from a pure profile height, this comes in about half way between the high deck and low deck version with regard to absolute height of the deck...but preserves all of the room/height of the high deck in the normal knee position.
