If I used an internal strong back I would consider stripping the hull, sanding and glassing outside of the hull.

then placing the first sheer strip for the deck so that is that is perfectly placed,

then removing the hull and finishing inside, including glassing,

then continue with the deck.

The hull does not need to be attached while you do the deck.
