Paddle length is 210cm. I have a plastic bladed carbon shaft cheap one I cut from 230 down to 210 and set the angle at a fixed 70 degrees - and another 210cm, this one a Grey Owl Mistral with an adjustable ferrule.

I recently took a rolling course with a fantastic local shop - the Complete Paddler - and heard that feathering is falling out of fashion. An unfeathered paddle certainly made rolling easier! But not easier than a Greenland paddle.

And I should absolutely try an Aleutian paddle, too, I think.

Just to add to the metrics if anyone is plugging things into equations, I'm 5'10 and 160lbs, with a longer than average torso.
