I hope no one has the impression that this boat needs anything!

To be clear - this boat only wiggles when I'm paddling as hard as I can, and as has been pointed out, with a large blade.

A moderate cadence propels me much more efficiently and with great glide. She tracks well until pushed hard. This is probably true of most designs, though, of course, and my basis for comparison is only to a Whisky 16 with the skeg down.

Being my first boat (ever) my perspective is a bit naive, I suppose.

However - I would ABSOLUTELY recommend the Nikumi 19 to anyone considering. Can't wait for things to melt, what a winter...
