+1 for John, the Guillemot L is an excellent choice,just so that your skills are above "gosh I cut this 3 times and it's still too short" you will be all right.The challenge will bring out an element of creativity and satisfaction found very seldom today,and it will serve your needs for a long time in the future.All the best in whatever you decide in .
