According to the video, as I understand it, the sheer strip make a affair curve up to the tip of the bow and the second strip goes straight, creating a triangular space at the front, which will be filled in with cheater strips. I have not yet tried the heat gun. Can you give me more specific advise on how to use it in this case?

As for "trapping the forms" I mean that it seems that as the strips will be applied from sheer line to keel, they curve around several of the forms from a narrower point on the form to a wider part of the form, which would prevent the form from being lifted out of the hull directly. It would be necessary to remove all the spacers and collapse the forms to the center of the strong back, in order to remove the hull from the forms. Is that the way you do it?
