I'm in northern IL so I know what your temps are like. I'd pick a warmer day, they are coming (really) and do the glassing when it's warmer out. You aren't looking for a clear finish like on a wood boat so the temps are not as critical but epoxy sets up and is much nicer to work with when the temps are at least in the 60's.

The Dacron heats up very quickly so that's not much of an issue, it's very thin. The epoxy though wants to be at room temperature, keep it inside the house so it's warm. The glass too can be kept warm, so it's less of a problem when everything but the Dacron is getting cold with the outside temperatures.
