Unfortunately using the Dyson dacron I did get stretching.
An aircraft homebuilder I know suggested that overheating the dacron would damage it and not result in as tight an installation as is possible. That was why I switched to an Iron - to see if it worked.
The dacron I used is not the aircraft certified lighter cloth.
