Thanks Nick. $210 bucks for a 24' length. I was sitting here thinking about what I would do with a 9' length of Al extrusion when it came to me. I could cut a 5' section and splice it on, to make an external strongback when I need one. That leaves me with a 4' section that I could use part of to make a drill press fence.
