This is what my Cape Ann Storm looked like before the varnish debacle.

Here it is after many nights of scrubbing with alcohol and steel wool. Thanks for the help Rob, and everyone else! Tired, but appreciative. Now on to the Perfection Plus varnish. Hopefully in the water in two weeks?
I used N 50 3/8 by 1/8 Neodynium magnets to secure the hatch and it turned out quite well
I can lift the front end easily without it releasing. Used 3/8 by 3/16 to make the gasket channel, and 3/8 by 5/16 rubber foam for the final gasket (trial).
