Well sort of. I do it this way. Assemble forms on external strong back, build hull (staple less and hot glue inside), sand, prep and glass hull. Remove hull and forms from beam holding it all together with forms still in hull. Build deck on forms, sand, prep and glass deck. Then knock out forms through cockpit opening (as many as I can access) and remove deck. Clean, scrape, glass insides.
Rod, only problem: he's using an internal strong-back and stapleless (hot-glue). If the deck is also stripped and glassed, he'll have a bugger of a time trying to break the forms free from the hull, deck and the strong-back, especially in the ends. The strong-back will really gets in the way. It's hard enough removing the forms and strong-back using just staples. Why not complete the hull first and tack the forms back into the hull. The fiberglassed hull becomes your new strong-back supporting the forms while stripping the deck.
If I was to build this way (internal and stapleless (hot-glue)), this is what I would do:
1. Strip, sand and fiberglass the hull exterior
2. Flip over and mark the form locations on the hull exterior
3. Knock out the forms and strong-back while you have access
4. Sand and fiberglass the interior of the hull (basically it's a canoe at this point)
5. Remove the forms from the strong-back and tack the forms back into the hull (once the epoxy has cured). You only need a small dot at each sheer and perhaps the bottom center of each form. The amount of wood you sanded off the interior is very close to the thickness of the glass that has been laminated to the interior.
6. Tape off the sheer joint to help prevent the deck from getting bonded to the hull
7. Strip, sand and fiberglass the deck exterior
8. Knock out the forms through the cockpit opening
9. Sand and fiberglass the deck interior
10. Continue completion work as "usual"
Glassing the hull inside and out first will result in less hot-glue to shear and no strong-back issues during form removal. It has a further benefit of stabilizing the hull. Both sides of the hull core are fiberglassed within a short time of each other. There's less likelihood of distortion issues due to changes in moisture, especially if you leave the hull aside when working on the deck and outfitting (coamings, hatches, deck fittings, etc).
I've been doing this for the past few kayaks (albeit on an external strong-back). It seems to be more common among European builders. On my latest build, a modified BTD Spray surf ski turned kayak, I've returned to writing more detailed blog posts covering the construction. I used an external strong-back and staples but the basic idea is the same. Here are two most recent ones that show the process.

In composite work, you always have always think about how you're going to remove the form/mold without destroying the component.
Hope it helps.
