Did I read the previous post correctly??? 17 yards of fiberglass cloth for a 17 foot kayak???
Seems to me 51 feet of cloth is a bit much. I bought a kit so I am not sure how much cloth they supplied, but I hope to build a stripper some day and would probably be building from plans and buying materials myself.
Just want to get it straight. I WOULD HATE TO HAVE EXTRA CLOTH IN THE GARAGE 'CAUSE IF I DID I WOULD HAVE TO BUILD MORE BOATS TILL IT WAS GONE. THEN IF I ORDERED TOO MUCH AGAIN IT COULD GO ON FOR A VERY LONG TIME. WAIT, THAT SEEMS LIKE A GREAT EXPLANATION TO GIVE MY WIFE FOR WHY I "NEED TO KEEP BUILDING MORE KAYAKS"
Thanks to all who post, I enjoy the forum more than words can tell. Final thought.
Go SOF!!!!!!!!!!!
