Also worth noting is that the drysuit has absolutely no insulation value. You can stay completely dry and still freeze to death. Without fleece or wool under the suit it's not worth much. Even relatively thin paddling gloves will add some insulation when you're in the water, can mean the difference of a successful outcome or and bad one.
