Hi Guys
I have not installed any hatches/lifting toggles or straps etc
Bow and stern are completely isolated with bulkheads at both ends of the cockpit area
when I did first sea trial I had water coming into the cockpit area through the hull but this seemed to be fixed when I put on the further sealing coats of epoxy

Rudder shaft extends through the aft deck for simplicity
When I took boat out of the water I flipped it on the deck and towelled the hull dry
flipped it back over and couldn't see any water coming out of rudder stock
did see water weeping out of aft hull though
Didn't see anything weeping out of fwd hull even though there was water inside

I went for a really light build - thin strips and 4oz glass and am wondering if the layup is up to the job
I suppose the question is - do I keeping putting on sealing coats of epoxy or is the way forward to bite the bullet and put another layer of 4oz glass on the hull......
Or to put it another way does more glass mean better sealing....
