Thank you for responding Mr. Messinger I saw the photos of your Great Auk and figured you'd be a great resource. I'm still confused though. I have looked everywhere in the book for a height at which to place the top of the sectional forms from the top of the end form. Maybe I've missed it and I will look again. If I place the sectional forms so that their tops are flush with the top of the end form I will not have anything to work with. Are you suggesting that the top of the sectional forms be down from the top approx. 1/2 of the width of the form itself? It seems like that would give me the material I need to match the angle of the sectional forms.
Are you saying that the way to use the centerline is to use the compass to draw on the side of the form a line that defines the height of the top of the sectional form which would be half the width of the end form from the top. Then draw the centerline on top of the form exactly half the thickness of the end form and bevel the edge of the end form to match the angle of the sectional form? Sorry for the confusion this is my first build ever and I'm trying to picture it in my mind.
