If its an internal strongback you can use it within reason.
You would have to open up the cutouts in your forms then use cleats to position them on a straight centerline.

If you can get, borrow, or buy a laser level it it so much easier than a string.

If it is an external its the same thing just attach the forms in a straight line, not worrying exactly where the strongback is.
