Thanks to everybody for the ideas about sheer clamps. Very helpful!

I still haven't decided exactly what to do, whether I really need sheer clamps at all. For now, I think I'll just set up the (un-notched) forms and get to work. I may add something between forms later if I think I need some support for the joints.
I'm also going to give the 'teeth' system ( ;-) ) a try... short sticks glued on the outside of hull and deck to help guide them together when the time comes for bonding.
Enough talk...gotta clean up (a bit) the shop and get those forms up.
