Very true... Nicks videos just make it look to easy I guess! But just thought there must be a way, tried mixing some stain with wood filler tonight, and looks like it may be the ticket. Gonna give it a go tomorrow, unless anyone knows a reason not too. Using the Elmers water based filler and Solar lux stain. Test I did on scrap looks OK, appeared to harden just fine, so should work I guess.
