I'm running the newest version of Safari with Mavericks and a brand new Mac, upgraded speed, and a brand new dual-band wireless router. It's not a hardware/software problem, unless Current Designs is paying Time Warner to slow down P65's info. It loads slow, it won't scroll, and some of the text overwrites other images and texts when you try.

I'm running virtually the same system (2014 15" MBPro). Their site loads quick and looks OK on a number of ISPs I have access to. Not sure what your issues are. It also looks fine on Firefox. On a whole it's not a bad website. Information is lacking on certain items but it's not horrible. Could it be better? Yes. The same could be said of many website out there...

If no one in the business notices how sub-par the web site is, why would they notice a sub-par product? Maybe they have the best builders in the world, but builders are hired. Why don't they hire the best builders of the company's public "face" to the world as well?

On the flip side, using your logic, if a company has an amazing website they must have a superb product. How many times have you seen where the opposite is the fact and the product is pure crap? Sometimes the product they're selling isn't even real! Just because you saw it on the internet it must be true, right!!

It's so easy to have a good one nowadays there really isn't any excuse.

Yes, it is much easier now to have a site that looks professional. There are tons of FREE or low cost web design sites. But, a truly good website still takes design skill to implement. That takes time and money. Which some companies don't have. Hiring out design services is very expensive and you have to keep it current. Maintaining a web presence also isn't as important for some companies. Some choose not to even have a website.

What I know about maintaining websites comes from my experience setting up my own. I wanted it to be functional, fairly easy to maintain and mostly inexpensive. I'm limited on funds and have no formal training in web design. So I use the Wordpress blogging software and then customize pre-made themes. I'll admit that the site IS a bit slow to load mostly because of my web host. You get what you pay for. It's gone through many iterations over the years. I wish the site could be a lot better but I don't have the time to implement new features or work out every bug or flaw. I can't hire out photographers to take perfect shots of my products. I don't have fancy custom graphics. I use what I create myself and work in updating it with the time I have available. Just putting a new project in the gallery can take half a day with uploading pictures, writing the page information, creating links, etc. That's on Wordpress which automates a lot of the back work. You still have to spend the initial design time collecting and/or creating your images and data.

I'm sorry, the quality of a company's website has no bearing on the quality of the product that they produce.
