I live in the PNW, and should have access to some good lumber, gonna have to go to a lumber yard. The local big box stores just have such a poor selection of lumber. I have built and glassed the coaming riser, so, gonna stick with that, for now. The laminations are kinda fun to do, and always look good, so lookin forward to it. But the way ET does his is very cool, but then his builds are all very nice.

And BTW, Nick needs to add this disclamer to his videos.... "Things may appear easier than they actually are!!"

Enjoying myself, and I think I will have a nice functional kayak when I get done.
