Yes, I had the same problem with trillions of the little guys. Sand smooth and they all get filled with dust that is impossible to remove by any means known to man.

What I did was get a small compressor (i used the compressor I pulled out a fridge abandoned in an alley), bought a few dollars worth of 20G x 1" syringe needles, used a sharpening stone to stone one flat and screwed it and elec taped it to an the output line.

Then beautifully blew each miniscule little sucker out while laughing with glee. Amazing, real quick, and only cost a few bucks.
