The method I use is: spot of hot glue to hull ,press tape into the spot of glue every 6-8". Fit deck to hull with tape. tape entire joint ,so epoxy won't leak out. Place kayak on side, run epoxy down the hull/deck joint using a brush hot glued to a stick to extend your reach.
