There is a difference between measuring weight and volume. The digital scale will only be accurate if the hardener and the resin are the same density, they aren't. Measure by volume and you will be OK.

This is not correct for WEST 105/205-6 resin and hardener.

"Dispensing without Mini Pumps (Weight/volume measure) - To measure 105 Resin and 205 or 206 Hardener by weight or volume, combine five parts resin with one part hardener."

Mix ratio by volume · · 5 parts resin : 1 part hardener
by weight· · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · 5.19 : 1

As Sean Dawe pointed out (from the WEST website and product info):
Acceptable ratio range by weight · · · · · · · · · 4.84 : 1 to 6.20 :1

So whether measuring by weight or volume, any ratio in the range between 5:1 to 6:1 should be fine.
