Just looking at the bottom of my boats - where the scuffs and scratches seem to appear - I don't think you'll make much of a difference in debris collection by moving the skeg slightly off-center.

Good point!I The highest value real estate worth considering is within the hold and,yes to help with stowing ,an offset may help.I got scarred off when trying to make sure the Skeg was parallel to the keel as it didn't "look"right with it offset .
