I concur- it is very orange, and on some woods (my opinion) gives an unnatural look. (To be fair, some people prefer the look.) Also, it is supposed to be put on bare wood and is therefore very thin. It is not a varnish, but rather a polymer coating that needs to absorb to cure. I would shy away from putting it over epoxy.

If you want a nice golden hue, go with Goldspar. It has a beautiful honey color that glows in the sunlight. It can certainly go over epoxy, and I can't count the times I have used it- with no regrets!

My two bits from a salty dog who has seen a lot of brightwork, and a lot of UV rays. :-)
