I'm building a sof so I do not need the strips but wondered where in Portland you bought the wood as I can only find 10foot and nothing very clear.

If you are in Portland (OR?) include yellow cedar aka Alaska cypress in your search. IMO, a far superior wood to WRC for building SOFs (or any application where a reasonably light, tough (non-brittle), easy-working wood is required).
