For the SmartTrack, did it mount with the 'bayonet tube', or did you need to do some extra 'engineering' to mount it?

Stellar supplied a tube for mounting. The tube had the kink to retain the rudder. I drilled a hole through the deck into the solid end and bonded it with thickened epoxy. The rudder is turned hard to one side and drops in. When the rudder is used normally the kink in the tube aligns with the slot on the bayonet.

Do the Dyneema cords go into tubes under the deck? Any chafing problems?

Yes. I run tubes from the rudder directly to the cockpit. I hold them in place with glue and carbon straps. Stellar supplied the Dyneema and polyethylene tubing. Both are the same materials they use on their surf skis and touring kayaks. Dyneema is pretty abrasion resistant and the poly tubing is slick so chafing should be limited. If there is any wear the cord would be very easy to replace. I also add an extra tube for the up haul line. It makes a cleaner installation.
