Kevlar is a real pain in the butt to use and requires even special scissors to cut it, that then can't be used for anything else. Can't sand it, turns to fuzz when you do. Personally unless it's used in a female mold, better off forgetting it.
S glass is nearly as tough and a heck of a lot easier to use.
There are several high tech composite fabrics you could think of using, there's a nice test of them on the One Ocean Kayak site.
