And being as you put it that way, perhaps it would be well to mention that the Merlin definitely likes to go straight. It's a hard tracking boat just as the Outer Island is. And like the OI, it perkily responds to good technique, and turns just fine as long as you cooperate, and don't expect it to do everything itself.
