Hi all,
It seems that with Nick's patient and generous help, the problems with my profile have finally been sorted out, so I can now do what I tried to do some time ago... :)
The wife's kayak is now done, and she loves it. The design is my own, created on Kayak Foundry software. My intent was to build a kayak more or less the same size as my first cedar strip, a Cape Ann Storm SLT, but with better initial stability for my wife. The boat behaves exactly as I had in mind so far, but trying it in rough water remains to be done.
This kayak and the first one would not have been near the success they were without the generous assistance of the participants on this forum. This is a great community, one that you can be proud of, and that I am very grateful for. Thanks for all the help,
Time to go paddling.
