Epoxy: Holes for Maroske fittings
It is soon time to make the deck line fitting on my Nomad (Design by Björn Thomasson). I will use the Maroske fittings. But i am not sure how to seal the edges of the holes in the deck. Should I use the drill-fill-drill-technique? Or should I somehow use the glass sleeve itself? I can't coat it with epoxy while the plastic-tube or glue stick (Have not decided what to use yet) is still in.
It looks like most people use glass sleeves instead of small scrap pieces. It seem like the sleeve has to go through the deck and not just stop at the inner surface.
