I used Sean Dawes excellent idea of using car repair bog with glass fibres embedded already.Before glassing
the top of the deck but having already done the inside glassing then drill the holes oversize then do the tubes and then push the putty round them.Then pull the tubes.Then glass the deck and varnish.Then drill the glass out carefully exposing the tube within the putty.No glue drops into the holes.
