Hi Jonah,I would guess that most kayaks can be modified for a variety of paddling conditions,for creek or small river usage I would guess a bit short and a strong hull bottom for the rip-rap and stones.I am probably not the best person to give this type of info but I shortened a 18' Night Heron to 16',it came out well and improved handling in the Florida mangroves.Best of luck Nick R.
