Considering the weight and bulk of the post and the table saw capability, I would start by cutting some boards with the circular saw. You can use some small clamps and clamp a guide on the saw base and rip some boards off the post coming in from each side. Then the posts will be a little more manageable for the table saw.

I did this once and drilled a few small holes in the circular saw base and screwed on a rip guide. But small clamps will work fine.
I think this is easier working on some saw horses rather than trying to push 4 x 4s through the table saw. You'll get less binding since you can be sure the post have warp.
