For sure... first time in a kayak. Kinda shaky but I think I will enjoy it.

It's a beautiful boat, and you will enjoy it more when your skills develop.
I'd strongly suggest joining a local sea kayak club and/or getting some lessons before you move on to another build. It seems expensive to pay for lessons, but you will avoid learning a lot of bad habits.
My wife and I learned far more in one weekend at BodyBoatBlade than we'd picked up 'learning from friends' over a few years...and BBB provides boats and dry suits so you can play in that cold PNW water!

You will have no problems exiting your boat, from the look of it.
