It is 32 X 17, and I think I just need to get in a bit better upper body shape. I hike, and walk 3-5 miles every day, but need to do some upper body strengthening and lose some weight. Was kind of hoping paddling would help with upper body, as I am not a big fan of non-entertaining exercise..lol. Had a very soft physical job before I retired (practiced medicine), but I have been hiking for many years. I did the Grand Canyon last year which was a bucket list hike for me, and did OK. Had my sons stabilize the kayak when I got in and out yesterday, but would like to be able to do it alone. I checked the BBB site and have peaked my interest there, so will look into that more. Thanks for advice, got a way to go I think... but got nothing but time.
