Were you able to cure the fiberglass on the inside of the kayak while secured to the forms? I have experimented with the fiberglass and epoxy in the following manner. I resawed a piece of mahogany to 1/16 by 20"" by 30" and glassed it. It warped badly indicating that epoxy had shrunk despite the manufactor's claims of a all solids product. To be clear the piece shrank in a concave shape on the glassed side. So there it is we face a double edged sword the wood moves with the weather and the epoxy shrinks when it cures. So if one removes the kayak from the form after glassing the outside it is imperative to complete the inside quickly and wrap it tight to the form for the first 48hrs.
