Water test was last night, tonight I'm going to Algonquin Park for an 8-day portage loop! I have never portaged or been backwoods camping.

Matt,you must love being on that steep learning curve.8 days "out there " will have needed a significant amount of mental and practical preparation to be safe,let alone be fun!I guess you have already left by now...good on ya.
