Not exactly a kayak but...

I did this build in a 'stream of conscious' way. I just started building with nothing in mind and no plans. And although I learned the most this way, I seriously don't recommend it.

That said, the experiment is still going on. I am considering oars after I get the seat and foot braces in. However, salmon season is coming and I have to get it ready for that as well!
