There is nothing sustainable about Aluminum, it does not grow or otherwise replace itself.
I believe the comment about sustainable Al was a joke. Maybe the whole conversation was an I just didn't get it.
If you want a sustainable skin use wood. I don't know how to fold it, not my problem.
