Strip: gasket - etienne p section?
after some sea trials i am not particularly happy with the water-proofness of my flush hatches.
my first shot was with foam tape but i am a bit challenged on getting the right balance between tape thickness and how much pressure to compress and get a water-tight seal....and keeping everything looking flush.
etienne, on one of your earlier posts you wrote you used 'P sectioned self adhesive draught excluder' for your hatches. is it possible to get a closer picture of this and how you used it and material/product specification? i am interested in seeing if i can find the USA-available equivelent of this material.
many thanks
