I have be using minicel foam ripped to the desired width and thickness on my bandsaw. I then glue it to the hatch lip with Wurth brand rubber glue. This is something I use at my day job to glue on automotive door seals, etc. I'm sure there are other brands that are just as good. This comes in a small can with a brush attached to the lid. I have several boats with 3+ years on them and it is holding up well.Dan
I am going to give this a try, I am not altogether satisfied with the currently available products.
