Yes, the Coleman Kitchen is where I started the design process. The coffee maker, while interesting, weighs almost 9.5 lbs. and I am sure that doesn't include the propane cylinder, and probably a bunch of other necessary parts.
Speaking of coffee and camping: I very much like the JETBOIL brand of cooking gear. It is lightweight, durable, "right-sized" for two campers, and made in New Hampshire. I used the coffee press accessory for a few seasons and formed a mediocre opinion of it. Then a fellow kayaker suggested the "VIA" instant coffee packets by Starbucks. The coffee is really good and rich tasting, you have very little mess to clean-up or pack out, and it is very light weight.
