I tip my cap to you. Working with the 40 x 40 3.2 weave was difficult for me. The 4 oz (3.7 actually} is a 30 by 18 weave and much more open . The 4 oz cloth releases the trapped bubbles much easier than the 3.0 with a pass of the heat gun. The 3 oz. is actually 3.2 and the 4oz. is actually 3.7 so the weight saving is really only 1/2 ounce. My reason to use the 3.2 ounce was the cloth itself is thinner with tighter weave. I thought it would save added resin weight during the saturation and fill coat phases.
